Police say just after 1:00 PM, witnesses reported seeing several people beating up one man, who was on the ground.
Multiple police officers responded to the incident and arrested one man in connection with the assault. The victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police thank all witnesses who called in to report the assault and for remaining on scene to talk to investigators. This file remains under investigation.
