Police say on January 23, 2022, officers responded to a report of a shooting in Taylor, a community south of the city.
Upon arrival, one adult was found to be suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to hospital in Fort St. John and remains there. The victims condition was not released.
Another adult was arrested and released from custody. At this time no charges have been laid.
The Fort St. John RCMP Serious Crime Unit continues to investigate and is asking anyone who may have additional information in this matter to contact police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
