Just before 3:00 PM on Monday, November 22, 2021, Frontline police attended the Prince George Court House at 250 George Street for a report of an assault on a peace officer by a contemnor, who was being released on conditions after appearing in court earlier that day.

Witnesses to the assault stated the woman became agitated and assaulted a Deputy Sheriff. Police arrested the woman and she remained in custody until she could attend court on November 23. The woman was released with a future court date.
