UPDATE: Single lane alternating traffic as of 6:55 pm PST. Expect delays.

Motorists be advised that Highway 97 is CLOSED in both directions north of Prince George between Tallus Road and Crystal Lake Road, approximately 40 km north of the city. A vehicle incident is the cause of the closure.

No detour. Reopening time is around 7:30 pm PST to single lane alternating traffic.
