CHETWYND, BC: On Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 3:20 PM, Chetwynd RCMP was called to the scene of a fire at the West Fraser in Chetwynd.
Police say a fire had ignited in a hog fuel pile and subsequently spread to a near by timber lay down pile. The fire is not suspicious in nature and the local fire department has conduct of the investigation
The RCMP, Wildfire BC and Pipeline emergency were called to the scene to assist Chetwynd Fire and Moberly Lake Fire Department.
