Highway UPDATE 3: Estimated time for reopening is 12:30 PM. Expect delays as it will be single lane alternating traffic for quite a while.

INCIDENT UPDATE 1: The Prince George RCMP say two vehicles and a motorcycle are involved in a serious crash at Lower Mud River on Highway 16 West. Highway will remain closed.

UPDATE: As of 11 AM, Highway 16 West remains closed due to a vehicle incident. Estimated time of opening is 2 pm.

Motorists be advised that Highway 16 West of Prince George is CLOSED in both directions due to a vehicle incident at lower Mud River.
