Ended… Snowfall Warning for the Pine Pass region…

Ended as of 8:00 AM on Feb 25. Drive carefully on local roads and highways! More snow is in the forecast for the remainder of the week.

UPDATE: As of 8 pm, the frontal system has made its way to the Prince George region bringing with it strong winds and blowing snow. Snow will be heavy at times throughout the night and taper off by Thursday morning.

Environment Canada has issued a Snowfall Warning for the Pine Pass region with up to 15 cm by Thursday…

A frontal system is moving into the Prince George region tonight. Hwy 16/97 – DriveBC.ca

Heavy snow is also in the forecast for the Prince George region tonight and into Thursday. Between 5 to 10 cm is expected.

Snowfall Warning for the Pine Pass

Snowfall with total amounts of about 15 cm is expected.

A Pacific frontal system will spread snow to Pine Pass tonight. The snow will be heaviest tonight. The snow will ease to flurries on Thursday. Total snowfall amounts of 15 cm are expected.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
