Environment Canada is forecasting a warm, winter weekend with temperatures around plus 8 for Sunday. A system is moving in bringing snow Saturday afternoon mixed with rain. Gusty winds up to 50 km/ are expected.
Then on Sunday, strong gusty winds up to 70 km/h for the afternoon and evening hours.
The warming trend will continue well into next week with daytime highs around plus 3 and overnight lows around minus 6.
