Ended… Heavy snowfall expected for the Pine Pass region…
Environment Canada has issued a Snowfall Warning for the Pine Pass region for today and into Sunday. Up to 30 cm is expected.

Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.
A frontal system approaching the BC coast will move across the BC Interior later today spreading snow the Williston region and the Pine Pass beginning this afternoon. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm are possible in Williston region before the snow changes to rain on Sunday morning. The precipitation will remain as snow over the Pine Pass until late Sunday afternoon with total snowfall accumulations of 20 to 30 cm expected.
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
