UPDATE: Extreme cold weather will persist for the next few days across BC North and the Central Interior. As of this update on Sunday at 8:44 am, it is most definitely an inside morning in Dawson Creek.
Environment Canada has issued a Extreme Cold Warning as night time temps will be around minus 34 and wind chill values will be around the minus 45 degree range for the next few days.

Winter weather is also making a return to the Prince George region beginning Saturday night and well into next week. Overnight lows are forecast to be around minus 30. Wind chill could also be a factor for the PG region. Be prepared.
Warning Details: Extreme cold wind chill values of near minus 40 to minus 45 are expected for tonight and Sunday as an Arctic airmass settles over the BC Peace region.
Extreme cold puts everyone at risk.
