Over the past week, the Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit, along with the Prince George Forensic Identification Section, has carried out an intense and exhaustive investigation into the homicide of a male on New Year’s Day.
Police are now able to identify the deceased as Elie Eric Blanchard.
“Police are asking that anyone who has information about the circumstances which lead to Mr. Blanchard’s murder come forward and provide that information to investigators,” says Cst. Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP.
