PRINCE GEORGE, BC: One man has been arrested following a sexual assault in Connaught Hill Park on Sunday…
Police responded to scene and evidence was gathered. A short time later, an adult male suspect was located and arrested.
The BC Prosecution Service has approved the following Criminal Code charges against 37 year-old Ryan Kenneth MCLANE of Prince George:
· Sexual assault
· Assault by choking
· Assault with a weapon
· Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (2 counts)
· Utter threats to cause bodily harm
· Theft $5000 or Under
Police say this violent attack was not believed to be random as both the victim and suspect are known to each other. McLane was held in custody and will appear in court today (Nov 16).
