PRINCE GEORGE, BC: One man has been charged after an altercation led to the death of another man in Prince George in October 2019…

On Friday October 4, 2019 at approximately 11:20 PM, two males were involved in a physical altercation near the intersection of 20th Avenue and Redwood Street in Prince George. As a result of this incident, 35 year-old Gregory Gareth Wale suffered serious injuries that later led to his death.

A public plea for assistance went out to help identify the person responsible, which led to the suspect attending the Detachment and presenting himself into police.

On October 6, 2020, the BC Prosecution Service approved a charge of Manslaughter against 30 year-old Dallas Phillip Adsit of Prince George.

Members of the Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit located and arrested Adsit on October 28, 2020.

He was held in custody overnight and released by the court the next day, pending his next court date, which is scheduled for Wednesday January 6, 2021.
