October 30 UPDATE:

Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.

A further snowfall of 5 to 10 cm is expected this morning.

A low pressure system crossing the central interior this morning will give a further 5 cm of snow to Williston and up to 10 cm elsewhere this morning. The snow will end by afternoon as the low moves into Alberta.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.

Environment Canada has issued a Snowfall Warning for Mackenzie, Chetwynd, Pine Pass and the BC Peace regions beginning today and ending Friday afternoon. Up to 20 cm is expected.

Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected.

A warm front ahead of an approaching Pacific low pressure system will spread snow at times heavy to the Williston region and Pine Pass this evening then to the BC Peace region by midnight.

Total snowfall accumulations will range from 15 to 20 cm for the Williston region and Pine Pass and 10 to 15 cm for the BC Peace. The snow is forecast to end Friday morning except near noon Friday for the Peace.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
