PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Police are once again investigating a shooting occurrence at a home near Bellos Street in Prince George…

Police say at approximately 12:30 AM, on the morning officers received a report of shots fired near Bellos Street in Prince George. 

Multiple frontline officers including a Police Dog Service team attended the area. One residence was cleared by officers for public safety. Three adult occupants were located and uninjured. Investigators obtained statements and located evidence confirming shots were fired. The suspect or suspects fled the area before police could be called.

This is the second shooting incident on Bellos Street in less than three weeks. Police responded to this street just before 11:00 PM on Monday September 21, 2020, after received reports of shots fired. Investigators found firearm related damage to a residence. No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.

Both of these incidents are believed to be targeted attacks associated to two rival groups involved in the drug trade. 

In an unrelated matter at this time, police were at a home near Duchess Park on McBride Cres and 10th Ave. As of 1:20 PM. A hold and secure continues at two other schools, Heritage Elementary and D.P. Todd Secondary in Prince George as ongoing police incident continues in a neighbourhood of the schools.

In an unrelated matter at this point, an incident on 10th Ave and McBride Cres has officers stationed in areas between 3rd Ave and 10th Ave. More to come if available. – PJXM News Photo.
