PRINCE GEORGE, BC: On Thursday October 1, 2020, the Prince George RCMP obtained and executed a Criminal Code search warrant at a residence on Boyd Street, near First Avenue and Ospika Boulevard.

This is the same residence police attended on Monday September 28, 2020, to arrest Priority Offender, Colin Durrand.Β

Four adult males and an adult female were located inside the residence and arrested. A stolen vehicle was located in the driveway and a search of the residence found ammunition, a prohibited weapon, gun parts, and a quantity of fentanyl.

In addition to the above, two small homemade explosive devices were located in the residence. The residence was secured for safety and neighbours were notified. The RCMP’s Explosive Disposal Unit will attend the scene today to remove and destroy the devices.

The occupants of the residence were released at the scene without legal process, pending further investigation and charge assessment from the BC Prosecution Service.

The investigation is continuing.
