PRINCE GEORGE, BC: At 11:54 PM, on Monday September 22, 2020, the Prince George RCMP received a report of overdue hunters off Blackwater Road, southwest of Prince George.  Three adults and two children failed to return home as planned.

Frontline officers patrolled the area for much of the night looking for the vehicle they were associated to, without success.

Later this morning, family members were able to make contact with the overdue hunters via a satellite phone.  The hunters suffered vehicle trouble, but were fine and did not wish further assistance.

The search has been concluded.
