Update 2: Hwy 97 West of Dawson Creek is now fully open.

Update 1: As of 7:10 PM, Hwy 97 is single lane alternating traffic.

Motorists be advised that Highway 97 is CLOSED in both directions west of Dawson Creek between the 271 Groundbirch Road and the 269 Road. No detour available. Next update is after 8 pm.
