5 pm Update: The probability of precipitation for thunderstorms has decreased to 70 percent this evening, with a risk of a severe thunderstorm.
Environment Canada is forecasting thunderstorms for the Prince George and Quesnel regions beginning late this afternoon with the highest chance of probability between 5 pm and 9 pm.
Some storms could turn severe with strong wind gusts, hail, heavy downpours, and intense lightning. Stay tuned to Environment Canada for the latest as storm warnings could be triggered.
