CHETWYND, BC: The Chetwynd RCMP is requesting the public’s help in locating a missing person who has not been seen since late 2019…

Police say on July 12, 2020, RCMP in Fort St. John received a missing person report on William BIRD. Investigative measures were taken and the Detachment forwarded information to Chetwynd RCMP for a follow-up. To date all efforts to locate William have been unsuccessful.

William is originally from Wanipigow, Manitoba, and may still have family and friends in the province. Family, friends and police are concerned for his well-being as it has been reported he lives a high risk life style.

William BIRD is described as

  • First Nations
  • 35 years old
  • 6 feet tall
  • 241 lbs.
  • Brown eyes
  • Black hair
