DAWSON CREEK, BC: The Dawson Creek RCMP is asking for the public’s help after two cyclists were hit by a vehicle on Monday in the city…

Police say on June 29, 2020 at a 6:35 PM, officers responded to a report of two cyclists who were struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 105th Avenue and 8th Street.

Both riders sustained injury and were taken to hospital in stable condition. One of the cyclists was dragged by the vehicle for a short distance.

The suspect failed to remain at the scene, however, witness were able to help officers identify the vehicle and the driver involved in the crash.

Although multiple witnesses have come forward, investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or have any information about it.

If you have dash-cam video or if you have information regarding the collision, you are asked to call the Dawson Creek RCMP at 250-784-3700 and speak with the lead investigator Cst Price.
