Frontline officers and other emergency services attended the scene and found an adult male suffering from serious injuries as a result of the collision. He was transported to hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is co-operating with police. Alcohol or other drugs are not believed to be a factor.
Although the investigation is continuing, it appears that the man may have stepped out from a parked vehicle as the other vehicle was driving by.
