PRINCE GEORGE, BC: On Sunday May 31, 2020 at approximately 5:00 PM, frontline officers from the Prince George RCMP responded to a report of a pedestrian involved collision at the corner of 1st Avenue and Ospika Boulevard in Prince George.
Officers and other emergency services arrived on scene and found an 18 year old male suffering from serious, life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital for treatment. The 22 year old female driver of the mid-sized vehicle remained on scene and co-operated with police. Alcohol or other drugs are not believed to be a factor.
Evidence was gathered at the scene and the vehicle was seized. All indications are that the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk when the south bound vehicle collided with him. The investigation is continuing and charges may be considered upon conclusion.
