Police say just before 2 PM on March 9, officers were called to a home for a check well-being report.
Upon attendance, officers located an adult female deceased. Vanderhoof RCMP called for assistance from North District Major Crime (ND MCU), who now has conduct of the investigation.
At this time, it is believed that all people involved are known to each other. No further information is being released at this time.
