PRINCE GEORGE, BC: One person has died following a serious crash Thursday morning south of Prince George near Pineview…
Police say at approximately 9:10 AM, emergency crews responded to a three vehicle crash involving a pickup truck, an SUV, and a logging truck.
Police confirm one person is deceased and another has been sent to hospital with undetermined injuries. At this time, police are in the early stages of a fatal collision investigation.
The cause is undetermined and nothing has been ruled out. Prince George RCMP, Prince George Regional Traffic Services (PGRTS), Commercial Vehicle and Safety Enforcement officers, WorkSafeBC and the BC Coroners’ Service are continuing to investigate the collision.
The highway remains closed and it is not known when it will reopen due to the logs and vehicles on the highway. Motorists are asked to monitor DriveBC.ca for updates on the road closure and to obey the direction of traffic control personnel at the scene.
