Police say at approximately 1:30 PM on Feb 5, the driver of a transport truck was attempting to get his broken down rig off Hwy 97 with help from another truck driver.
Police determined the driver of the broken down truck was guiding the helper when he lost his footing and slipped under the trailer, subsequently being run over.
The man was taken to hospital in Williams Lake and later flown out to another hospital to be treated for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
WorkSafe BC has been notified of the incident and the investigation is ongoing. The name of the driver is not being released at this time.
