PRINCE GEORGE, BC: On the evening of Thursday November 14, 2019, frontline officers with the Prince George RCMP entered into a stolen property investigation at a residence on the 1300 block of Carney Street in Prince George.
Through investigation, officers were able to seize many items believed to be stolen or confirmed to have been stolen. Items include bicycles, power tools, hand tools, chain saws and a dirt bike style motorbike.
Several items have been confirmed stolen and officers are working to identify the owners of the remaining items. Once owners of the items are identified, they will be contacted by police.
Of the seventeen bicycles recovered, none had serial numbers registered on the online bike registry, 529 Garage.
This investigation is continuing.
RCMP would like to remind the community to record all serial numbers of valuables and store the list in a secure place, not inside your computer. Always report lost or stolen items to police.
