Police arrest B&E suspect…
PRINCE GEORGE, BC: One man has been arrested following a Break And Enter to a garage…
Police say at approximately 2:30 AM on Tuesday November 12, 2019, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a break & enter to a garage on Johnson Street as a result of an alarm being triggered.
Frontline officers attended the scene and attempted to clear the garage. A lone male suspect was located hiding under a vehicle in the garage. The man attempted to run from police, but was apprehended by officers shortly after. He was taken into custody without further incident.
Jeffrey Nik Krafczyk, a 39 year-old Prince George man, has been charged by the BC Prosecution Service with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Break & enter with intent
- Possession of break-in instruments
- Resist arrest
- Fail to comply with Recognizance (2 counts)
The charges of fail to comply with Recognizance are in relation to a previous investigation where Krafczyk had been charged. Krafczyk was held in custody and made a court appearance on Tuesday.
