On Saturday, October 5, 2019 at approximately 12:10 PM, officers from the Fort St. John RCMP and the Taylor Fire Department responded to a two vehicle crash on the South Taylor Hill.
Investigation has determined that the driver of a pickup truck collided with another vehicle causing injuries to the lone occupant of the second vehicle, a man in his 40’s from the United States. The man was transported to hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Police entered into an impaired driving investigation involving drugs with the man who was driving the truck, who is also known to the RCMP. The man has been identified as Jordan Anthony Ramos.
The highway was closed for a period of time as police investigated this criminal collision. Peace Regional Traffic Services (FSJ) and the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service are continuing with the investigation.
