As of 1:06 PM, a line of severe storms is approaching the Prince George region. These storms are capable of producing damaging wind, heavy rain and hail! These storms are slow moving and heading from the south to the northeast of the city at 25 km/h. Expected after 2:15 pm!
Rain, heavy at times is expected all day in the Prince George and Quesnel regions. Showers will change over to thunderstorms later this morning and this afternoon. 10 to 20 mm of rain expected.
While the rain has been a blessing opposed to smoke filled skies, warmer, summer like temperatures are on the horizon beginning this weekend and well into next week.
