PRINCE GEORGE, BC: During the late evening of Friday July 5th, 2019, the Prince George RCMP’s Street Crew Unit executed two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants at residences in Prince George.
The first warrant was executed at a residence on the 3800 block of 15th Avenue in Prince George. Upon entry into the residence, a 25 year-old male jumped from the third floor in an attempt to evade police. He was met by a police service dog team and taken into custody shortly after.
He was found in possession of a significant amount of cash, cocaine, and heroin or fentanyl or combination of both. The suspect suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment. Two other suspects were located in the residence, a 28 year-old male and a 49 year-old female. Both are residents of Prince George. More drugs and cash were located.
The second warrant was executed at a residence on the 200 block of North Ospika Boulevard in Prince George. A 27 year-old Prince George man was located and arrested in the residence. Search of this residence also found a significant amount of cash.
All four suspects have been released from custody pending further investigation.
