Property Crime offenders caught…

PRINCE GEORGE, BC: During the evening of Wednesday June 12 and the morning of Thursday June 13, 2019, officers located and arrested a number of persons believed to be involved in local property crime.

Frontline officers were called to a residence near 1st Avenue and Claxton Crescent at about 7:15 PM on June 12, for a report of a disturbance.

During the investigation, an adult male was found hiding from police and provided a fake name. He was arrested for obstruction and found to be in possession of a forged cheque, as well as a stolen wallet, credit cards and a passport from a Break and Enter that occurred late last month in Prince George.

Donald John PEREGOODOFF, a 26 year-old Prince George resident formerly of Dease Lake, BC, has been charged by the BC Prosecution Service with the following Criminal Code offence:

  • Obstruct peace officer
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
  • Possession of break-in instruments
  • Forgery

PEREGOODOFF will attend court later today and is well known to police.

Just after midnight on Thursday June 13, 2019, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a theft from vehicle on Upland Street. A number of items had been taken from the unlocked vehicle.

Frontline officers conducted patrols of the area. Approximately thirty minutes later, members of the Detachment’s Street Crew Unit initiated a traffic stop with an occupied vehicle on Tamarack Street. An officer observed items he believed to have been stolen from the vehicle on Upland Street. All three occupants were arrested for possession of stolen property and over $700 worth of stolen items were recovered.

The BC Prosecution Service has charged Dallas Isaac JOHN, a 22 year-old Prince George resident originally from the Vanderhoof area, and Brandon Michael FELIX, a 26 year-old Prince George resident, with the following Criminal Code charges:

At approximately 4:15 AM on Thursday June 13, the Prince George RCMP conducted a street check of a suspicious male walking on Northwood Pulpmill Road in Prince George. The check determined that the 50 year-old Prince George man was breaching a curfew condition of a probation order from last fall. He was arrested and found to have a hammer hidden up his sleeve, which was a further breach of his probation order.
