Police are looking for school equipment thief…

TERRACE, BC: The Terrace RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a big metal box stolen from Thornhill Elementary School over the weekend…

Police say the metal box was secured to the ground under the covered area near the ball field and was last seen Saturday afternoon at the school on Clark Street.

“The equipment stolen is vital to the children’s physical fitness education,” said Staff Sergeant Michael Robinson. “Whoever took it should feel ashamed and return it to its rightful owners – the children of Thornhill Elementary School.”

The metal box is described as six feet long by approximately three feet wide and contained school equipment.

If anyone has information on who took the box or its location, please contact the Terrace RCMP at (250)638-7400 and reference file number 19-4047. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or online at www.terracecrimestoppers.ca
