One suspect outstanding…

PRINCE GEORGE, BC: A third suspect has been arrested in relation to a targeted shooting that occurred in our community on Friday April 5th.

On Tuesday April 23, 2019 at approximately 1:30 PM, frontline officers with the Prince George RCMP conducted a traffic stop of a pickup truck near the corner of Victoria Street and Strathcona Avenue in Prince George.

Officers identified a disguised Kenneth MUNROE as a passenger in the pickup. He was arrested without incident on his outstanding warrant issued as a result of the shooting. MUNROE was transported to the Detachment, where he was held in custody overnight. He will appear in court later today.

The Prince George RCMP continue to search for the last remaining suspect, 38 year-old Eric Vern WEST. WEST is considered DANGEROUS and should not be approached.

“Eric has to be tired of looking over his shoulder” says Cpl. Craig Douglass, spokesperson for the Prince George RCMP. “He has to be tired of not knowing who to trust and where he should hide next. He should do the right thing and turn himself in to police, because we will continue to actively search for him until he is arrested and taken to court.”

WEST is described as:

  • First Nations male
  • 5’11” tall
  • 180 lbs.
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes

Anyone that locates Eric Vern WEST is urged not to approach him and to call 9-1-1 immediately.
