Wanted Suspects remain outstanding…

PRINCE GEORGE, BC: On Wednesday April 10, 2019 at approximately 10:00 AM, the Prince George RCMP converged on a residence on the 2100 block of Tamarack Street in Prince George as part of the on-going investigation into the targeted shooting that occurred on Friday April 5.

Several residents of the multi-tenant building exited one by one over the course of four hours. They were checked by police and released.

At approximately 2:15 PM, officers tactically entered the building in search of the suspects. After a thorough search of the building, police departed the area at approximately 3:45 PM.

The Prince George RCMP will continue to actively search for 38 year-old Eric Vern West and 33 year-old Kenneth Ricardo Munroe, both wanted in connection to the shooting April 5.

The Prince George Detachment would like to thank the members of the public, and in particular, residents of the immediate neighbourhood, that were inconvenienced by this police operation. Their patience and commitment to public safety is appreciated.
