Sudden death not considered suspicious…

TERRACE, BC: The death of a man located in a wooded area in Terrace is not considered suspicious…

Police say on Friday at approximately 3:25 PM, Terrace RCMP responded to a report of a deceased man in the wooded area near Olson Avenue and Hanson Street. The man’s body was observed by someone walking on a nearby trail.

Police units including General Duty, Police Dog Services, and Forensic Identification Services attended the scene, along with a BC Coroner.

While the investigation is ongoing, preliminary findings obtained in conjunction with the BC Coroner’s Office have determined the death as unsuspicious in nature. The man’s identity will not be released, but he is believed to be a 49 year-old Terrace man.
