Pedestrian in serious condition following crash…

PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Police are looking for witnesses to come forward following a serious collision on Sunday morning…

Police say just after 10:30 AM, officers were called to a pedestrian vs. vehicle at 5th and Ahbau Street near the Spruceland Shopping Centre.

Police say an adult female was struck by a pickup truck and was removed from underneath it. The female was transported to hospital for treatment of critical injuries.

The driver, a 68 year-old male Prince George resident, remained at the scene and was cooperative with police. It appears the collision occurred at or near the intersection of 5th Avenue and Ahbau Street. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.

The investigation is just beginning. Police would like to speak to anyone that may have witnessed this incident. Witnesses are asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300.
