QUESNEL, BC: On Wednesday March 6, 2019 at approximately 9:45 AM, a man reported to Quesnel RCMP that he had been shot at outside a home on Lust Road in Quesnel…
The complainant advised police that when he had attended the home of one of his associates, he and a man inside the home had a disagreement over money owed. It is alleged the man inside the home produced a hunting rifle and shot at the complainant as he was exiting the home.
Police attended and contained the scene. Police made contact with the suspect and he exited his home without issue.
A search warrant was executed at the residence where firearms and ammunition were located and seized.
The suspect, a 45 year-old man, was held in police custody pending further investigation. Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident.
Police continue to work with the BC Prosecution Service to determine appropriate charges
