Police say on the afternoon of Thursday February 14, the Prince George RCMP’s Street Crew Unit arrested an adult male and an adult female near the intersection of 4th Avenue and Dominion Street in Prince George. The arrests were part of an on-going drug trafficking investigation.
Following the arrests, officers executed Controlled Drugs & Substances Act search warrants at residences located on the 5900 block of Montgomery Crescent and 4600 block of Freimuller Avenue in Prince George. Officers seized what they believe to be fentanyl and cocaine from the residences, along with drug trafficking paraphernalia.
In all, five persons were arrested and later released without charge, pending further investigation and charge approval from the Federal Prosecution Service of Canada.
The Prince George RCMP is committed to enforcement and prevention initiatives that combat the illegal possession and sale of illicit drugs in the community.
