PRINCE GEORGE, BC: A 26 year-old female suffered non-life threatening injuries after she was struck by a vehicle on Saturday…
Police say the incident occurred on 5th Ave near Nicholson Street at approximately 1:45 PM. Upon arrival, officers located the female and she was transported to hospital for treatment. The driver remained on scene and witnesses also stopped to help.
The female and two other pedestrians were attempting to cross 5th Avenue when the female was struck as the vehicle was attempting to stop. The investigation is continuing.
Police would like to remind pedestrians to ensure that vehicles are stopped before stepping out into traffic. Drivers should also be on the lookout for pedestrians at all times and drive to the conditions.
