VICTORIA, BC: Recreation facilities, art galleries, museums and Indigenous organizations are hosting free events this Family Day long weekend, including ice skating, swimming and other activities, thanks to support from the Province.
“B.C. Family Day is a chance to take a break and spend time making memories with your family,” said Lisa Beare, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture. “We understand what this day means to British Columbians. That’s why we have invested more funding this year, so that everyone has the opportunity to take part in free community activities with their loved ones.”
This year’s Family Day takes place on Feb. 18, 2019.
