Police ask for help to locate missing man…

PRINCE RUPERT, BC: The Prince Rupert RCMP is again asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Prince Rupert resident.

Binh Tran was last seen on the morning of December 11, 2018 in the area around the 1600 block of Park Avenue. Search & Rescue and the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team have searched the area Tran was last seen without success.

Binh Tran was last seen wearing a black sweater, black sweat pants, and dark coloured baseball cap.

A description of Binh Tran is as follows:
– Vietnamese man;
– 27 years old;
– 5’9;
– 175 lbs;
– Short black hair;
– Left ear and nose piercing;
– Believed to have temporary star tattoos on his neck and behind his ears.

Binh Tran’s family and the RCMP are concerned for his well-being, as this disappearance is out of the ordinary for Tran. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Binh Tran are urged to contact their local police, Prince Rupert RCMP 250-627-0700 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
