PRINCE GEORGE, BC: On Wednesday December 19th at approximately 11:00 AM, the Prince George RCMP and other emergency services responded to a reported motor vehicle incident involving a 3 year-old child on Ospika Boulevard in Prince George.
Initial indications were the child was struck by a vehicle backing up in a parking lot. A parent was close by. The child was transported to hospital for treatment of what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene. Alcohol is not a factor.
The investigation is continuing.
