Updated: One person sent to hospital in serious condition following crash…

UPDATE: The lone occupant, a 20 year old male, was removed from the vehicle and transported to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

A RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene to assist with gathering evidence. It appears that the vehicle was traveling eastbound at the time of the collision. Alcohol is believed to be a factor. The investigation is continuing and will be led by the Prince George RCMP’s Municipal Traffic Services Section.

Traffic was disrupted near the scene for most of the morning, however the scene is now cleared and regular traffic flow has resumed.

PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Just after 3:00 AM on Tuesday December 18th, 2018, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 16 East at Boundary Road.

Police and other emergency services attended the scene and located a single vehicle that had struck a pole. The single occupant was removed from the vehicle and transported to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Emergency personnel remain on scene. Traffic going through the area will be affected and drivers should expect delays.
