Thanks to tips from the public, late Tuesday afternoon two pickup trucks, each towing trailers with boats were located on the Queen Charlotte Islands.
One of the pickup trucks, a Ford F350, had damage consistent with the collision in Terrace and is believed to be the suspect vehicle.
Police have now seized two pickup trucks, two boats and three boat trailers as part of this investigation.
Seven individuals were identified and questioned by police and the investigation is ongoing to determine the exact roles of the individuals.
Police are confident they have identified the suspect driver responsible for this fatal crash who is from the Lower Mainland area.
