PRINCE GEORGE BC: During the early morning hours of Sunday October 7, the Prince George RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing at a residence on McIntyre Crescent.
Officers attended and located an adult male suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds. The victim was transported to hospital by paramedics and is expected to survive.
Sindy PELLETIER, a 38, was arrested at the scene and has been held in custody at least until she makes her first appearance in Provincial Court later today.
PELLETIER has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
• Attempted Murder
• Aggravated Assault
• Assault with a Weapon
• Assault Causing Bodily Harm
• Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
• Uttering Threats
This was an isolated incident where the victim and accused are known to each other. Alcohol was a factor.
