In reading a local CBC article on Friday, a health link was posted about Black Carbon, a component of particulate matter that darkened the sky over many communities on Friday morning and afternoon in Quesnel.
Black Carbon is especially dangerous to human health as it is made up of incomplete burning of fossil fuels, biofuels and biomass.
While we may find the dark sky intriguing it is best to remain Indoors.
