Weapons complaint leads to arrests…

PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Just after 9:00 PM on Thursday July 19, 2018, the Prince George RCMP received a report of two masked persons were walking along the 1900 block of Victoria Street taking turns pointing a shotgun at members of the public on foot and in vehicles.

Multiple police vehicles attended the location immediately and arrested the two suspects. The shotgun was found to be a field hockey stick covered in black tape. The two male suspects had covered their faces with bandanas.

A 32 year-old male Prince George resident originally from the Burns Lake area and a 30 year-old male Prince George resident originally from the Hazelton area, were arrested for Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Pointing a Firearm. The two men were held in custody overnight and will appear in court later today.
