Three vehicle collision sends two to hospital in Terrace…

TERRACE, BC: A tree was sheared off and a vehicle flipped onto its roof following a collision in downtown Terrace Wednesday afternoon…

Three vehicles were damaged and two people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries as a result of a motor vehicle incident at Kalum Street and Lakelse Avenue at around 3:10 PM.

According to reports, a Pontiac had been travelling westbound on Lakelse Avenue and attempting to turn right (northbound) onto Kalum Street when it was struck from behind by a Suzuki, pushing it through the intersection and into a tree, flipping it onto its roof on the south sidewalk of Lakelse Avenue. The Suzuki continued on and struck another westbound vehicle on Lakelse Avenue before coming to a stop on Emerson Street.

The Suzuki and Pontiac vehicles were towed from the scene; the truck received minor damage. Drivers of the Pontiac and Suzuki were transported by EHS to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Suzuki received a violation ticket for driving without due care.
