Three dead in serious collision north of Cache Creek…

CACHE CREEK, BC: On Thursday, June 21, 2018 at approximately 11:05 AM, Central Interior Traffic Services (Ashcroft) received a report of a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 99 north of Cache Creek, BC…

Multiple emergency services attended the scene and found that a commercial vehicle traveling south on Highway 97 collided with a passenger car traveling north on Highway 97, turning left (west) onto Highway 99. All three occupants in the passenger car were killed as a result of the collision.

Highway 97 was closed for approximately 5 hours while the BC Coroners and RCMP investigated the collision. The victims are two adults and a young child.
